HUMMUS (CHICK PEA DIP)
Although I do not like to use canned goods, this time unless you have already cooked the chick peas the night before, you could use a can of already cooked chick peas. You want to drain half the juice from the can when you are ready to use them.

2 cups cooked chick peas
1 garlic clove
1/4 cup olive oil
1 Tbls chopped parsley
4 Tbls toated pine nuts
1/2 tahini (sesame seed paste)
juice of one lemon or more
1 tsp salt

Mix all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Pour into serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil and garnish with chopped parsley and a few toasted pine nuts, serve with pieces of Arabic bread..
