According to a January 2, 2007, article in The City Paper by Amy Griffith in Nashville, Mayor Purcell and others recently traveled to Athens to meet with the Greek minister of tourism about strengthening the connection between our two cities. Officials os both cities feel that cultural performances, linked exhibits and Webcams linking the two Parthenons will benefit both cities. In advance of this future partnership with Athens, Eleni is already deeply involved with approximately 2 dozen churches in the United States, most located in the Nashville area.
The exchange of cultural heritage is a practice that she embraces, and she brings her unique message to Nashvillians each time she goes there. During the course of U.S. visit, Eleni is called upon to prepare delicious Greek meals for up to 150 people at a time at church gatherings. Eleni is passionate about sharing her love of cooking and her love of Christ.
